How do you get started finding a mobile home with land?
First, you want to decide on the environment that interests you.
Are you looking to buy land within a community? Some communities have an option where you can purchase the lot and move a home in. Some communities also offer home and land combinations for homes currently available. This situation typically still requires a monthly fee of sorts to either the management company or a home owners association (HOA). The monthly fee would normally cover any amenities provided like lawn care, trash, etc.
If you are looking for a more secluded environment, the option to purchase private land first and then site your new mobile home might be for you.

This option, however, does require research on your local and state regulations and requirements. What if I want to purchase private land that already has a home sited?
This can be a great option if you don’t want to go through the hassle of siting a home, or if you are on a time restraint.
Often times local mobile home dealers and retailers will offer Home and Land options. This lets you pick the home you want from their inventory and then they assist with the entire process.
